Took me FOREVER, but I finally managed to get my sidebar in my co.cc to be fixed…had to use a brute force method because the author of the theme (Yes, I’m too lazy to write a theme from scratch) had a weird universal position setting.
If anyone understands the title of this, kudos to you.
As of this moment, I am working on renovating my blog and moving to my co.cc. By late February or Early March, I am hoping to have everything happening over THERE.
I am reinstating Apps of the Week…and now I’ll have descriptions (pretty exciting, I know). However, only the top 5 will be listed.
1.AVG Free Edition 8.0.75—Quite possibly the best free antivirus. The system resource drain, however, is not as lovely, averaging around 60 megabytes while NOT scanning. It’s worth it, though.
2.Opera 9.6.1—Though overshadowed by Firefox and Chrome, Opera is still a pretty darn good browser. I would still recommend using FF or Chrome instead, however.
3.FooBar 2000 0.9.6 Beta 1—Fantastic freeware audio player. No unique features, but combines many that others have, and has a low footprint to boot.
4.Audacity 1.3.6 RC1—Probably the best freeware audio editor to be found. Low footprint, many effects, and several export formats.
5.Pidgin 2.5.2—A great chat client, with support for many chat networks (including ICQ and GTalk), proxies, and customizable emoticons.
